Many immigrants call this country, "Their Golden Cage"As many of you may know, I am hispanic and I thank god every day for letting me be part of this amazing country. Our webspace provides the opportunity for award-winning teachers (Golden Apple Fellows), new teachers (Teaching Scholars) and aspiring teachers (Pathway Scholars) to come together to share ideas and strengthen our professional learning community. We also welcome participation by Golden Apple Board members and the many friends of Golden Apple we count among our donors and volunteers.

As a member of the Golden Apple Community, you will find ideas and strategies for improving classroom practice as well as grant opportunities. We hope you’ll share your knowledge and experience, while you look to this webspace as a place to get answers to your teaching questions and help for addressing classroom concerns.
